19/03/24 – Back to Antigua today.

On the agenda today is another sail-away ‘bit of a do’ with cocktails & canapés with the opportunity to mingle with the officers. But, before all that, we must once again venture into town to see if there is anything we need or if there is any bar that takes our fancy, such as Hemingway’s.

Today, we are parked up in St Kitts and it’s blooming hot and made even hotter by our super cool special neighbour: The Arvia is parked next door and, she’s a big bugger (I thought our was big until I saw the Arvia). Should be a good sail-away this evening.

This morning, we will be [once again] revisiting Fairview Great House and Botanical Garden to [once again] learn all about Caribbean Cuisine. Yummy, Yummy. We thoroughly recommend it.

Again, what does one do on a Cruise Ship on yet another sea day? Well, one can take part in so many arranged activities taking place all around the ship from Deck 5 all the way up to Deck 16. That just isn’t our bag so, as usual on a sea day, we just chillaxed taking in the suns rays and drinking lots and lots of water (to start with). Today was however supposed to be different: Today we would be doing a [slow cruise by] of Dominica.

So, this being the 16th March, it was the day before St Patricks Day and I found myself wondering:
Will we (the passengers) be celebrating St Patrick’s a day early as we are at sea on the 17th! 🤞

Here was to be yet more stories of our adventures of Podge (His Podgeness) & Tubbs (The Duchess) as they continued to cruise the Seven Sea and yes, we do know there actually more than seven seas (see endnote). But, as we entered into 2021, Covid was still prevalent and getting back on cruise ships still seemed beyond the proverbial horizon. Or, was it?
