The Adventures of Podge & Tubbs

Another day, another day at sea so, what do we do with another day at sea. Nothing, absolutely nuffink. 

It is however the day before our Wedding Anniversary so we would need to pace ourselves as we would be doing a lot of celebrating. 

Phew, hatch is closed. As intimated on my previous post for Day 9, The Duchess is convinced that it’s down to her raising the issue with Ajit (Hotel Manager)😀. Personally I think it would have been closed anyway but at least she can’t use the open hatch for ice cube throwing target practice 🧊. 

As it’s a sea day, we again opted for a fine dining experience in the Epicurean Restaurant (where have our breakfast every day as it happens) and, fine dining it was. What we had for dinner is mentioned in other posts and I’m not going to repeat such things over and over again, but as ever, it was just perfect 👌. 

From there we went to the Crows nest for a drink or three. The head Barman got the measure of Her Tubbsness and her love of cocktails so made her something, we know not what, and ‘told’ her try it. She didn’t dare disobey and quite naturally it went down very well, closely followed by a couple more. In the meantime, His Podgeness was sampling rather large Cotswold Whiskies 🥃. All very yummy: All of them. 

By now, The Duchess/Her Tubbsness/Mrs Me (call her what you will) had started to twitter like a good’n so it was clear it was time that we retired to our suite and once again failed to goto bed the same day we got up: And this was the day we were supposed to pace ourselves 🤔.
