Today, I set myself a challenge: Actually, I set it a last Thursday when I read Cycling Weekly review of Cycling Sportives. The challenge is to complete two back to back sportives next summer totalling in excess of 280 miles.

Who ever arranged a 10:30 meeting for me in Peterborough needs a very stern talking to.
Sat Nav tells me that going across country is 30 miles shorter than going on the M4 / M25 but only 3 minutes longer. Think I’ll take the Motorway option: At least they have comfort stops. 🙂

I’m worried, and I don’t mind admitting it. There’s a lot of things wrong in the world today yet this evening, as I sit here, I can think of nothing that I have an irrepressible urge to rant about. I’m sure th feeling will pass but for the time being, I have nothing to say other than my lawn is in a right state after Freddie the Fox had his fun this morning.

Just spent twenty minutes watching a young fox frolicking around my lawn. Bouncing / prancing like a lamb, he seemed to trying to dig out a mole or even a rabbit.
It was entertaining to watch but boy has he made a mess of my lawn. I never saw him catch anything but lets hope he did.
Must think of a name for him….
